PHOTO PROMPT ยฉ Rochelle Wisoff-Fields
As the sailboat drifted aimlessly out to sea, I knew I would never see Robert again. He thought he knew enough about sailingย for a short jauntย by himself. ย He had never taken anyoneโs advice to heart and did exactly what he wanted. ย Knowing this, Iย stillย tried hard to stop him from sailing solo. ย As I watched him sail farther away, Iย couldnโtย tear my eyes away from hisย sailboat. ย I tried to keep him in sight as long as I could, but soon the tearsย overwhelmed. ย Whether out of fear or the possibility of freedom, Iย wasnโtย sure.ย
