As I looked down the crowded alley, I wondered if it would be safe to walk down alone. I remembered what had happened the last time I was in an alley and suddenly I knew I couldn’t safely make it down the alley. Jason had been there, lurking. Waiting for me to appear and I knew he would be there again. He knew my secrets and he knew how to scare me. But this time, I knew how to make him pay and I knew how to pull him into the sunlight. Sunlight was the one thing he feared.
