Have to Remember

Please remember me I don’t want you to forget About anything

When the neighbors yell Everyone will come running Hoping for police

When you told me the truth I didn’t want to listen Snow gently falling

Hearts badly breaking Running away with pieces Never turning back

Gnomes went travelling From house to house. Lawn to lawn. Never ask questions.

I wanted to know Why you were not here for me I wish I knew why

I want to say no You were not available Do not ask questions

You know what it means No one asked any questions Never asking why

You were deceiving Before you did fake me out You didn’t tell me

Tears always falling Neverending soft sadness Overlapping pain
