I knew the building was abandoned and I knew it would be the perfect place for me to hide out. I had been watching for days to make sure no one would come to check on the stability of the building, but the farmer who owned the land didn’t seem to care too much about what was happening on the edge of his farm. The day I moved in was the first day in weeks I had been almost warm. As time went on, I realized why the farmer let the building go. It was the ghosts.

Something about an abandoned building makes it a habitation for spirits and maybe a lost soul too it seems.

She’s still alive which mean the ghosts tolerate her. Maybe she can learn to tolerate them? If not, I hope she finds a warm, safe place in which to rest.

It’s easy to wear out a welcome when ghosts get involved. 🙂
