    I tried to send her away  To look out over the bay  I only wanted to leave  So I could finally get a reprieve  Because the skies were turning grey

    I wanted to go slow  But the boat tipped to and fro  I was afraid of sharks  But when the Captain remarks  The waves started to grow

    Animals appeared out of nowhere  From where, no one could see  With no food left to spare  Only instinct left was to flee  As they trampled through the brush  Also wondering what would come next  They decided to hide  Not knowing what to expect

    What if it wasn’t a dream?  What if it becomes a meme?  Would I want to stay around  Maybe if it was just to astound  I can always just scream

    Townspeople crying  Never moving, never leave  Where is the mayor

    All day and all night  I had never had such a fright  I knew well enough  But I was trying to be tough  But it all came down to the bomb site
