  • Repent

    Everywhere the sunshine went  The more money that was spent  On books, magazines and flare  Promising the art of no glare  Not remembering it was time to repent 

  • Open Skies

    From the highest mountain I see  Like the world seemed to agree  Bright sun and the open sky  Trying to drive away the lie  But all that remained was the deep black sea. 

  • Stars

    When the stars go dark  And nothing was visible in the park  I heard the animals start to sneak  But was too afraid to peak  Wondering how to best disembark. 

  • Spree

    The day I hurt my knee  I wanted to go on a shopping spree  Instead, I sat down and cried  When my tears finally dried  I could tell I was finally free 

  • Games

    The only color showing was red  Starting when I was still in bed  Noisy, messy colorful games  Where nobody could remember names  But were all the lies just in my head? 

  • Weather

    When the weather started to turn  All I could feel was the burn  Of all the lies that were told  From the days of old  Wondering what I had been expecting in return 

  • Water

    When it comes to water pollution   I wish there was an easy solution  But people don’t seem to care  Which these days, was not so rare  The Earth needs a revolution 

  • Protection

    This is the key to your apartment  Look into your own compartment  You were protecting yourself  And putting my feelings on the shelf  Like you are a part of the justice department 

  • Trial

    There will not be a fair trial  But all I can do is smile  The longer I keep wasting  When I find myself hating  As long as I don’t have to run a mile 

  • I’ll Follow You Into the Dark 

    When the sun goes down  At the end of the day  The birds go silent and the fireflies appear  The bears came out to play  Roaring fires and brightly shining stars  Spirits come out to show their wild side  Booing, scaring, jumping, seething  Haunting is their source of pride  I will follow wherever you may…
