Future Life

PHOTO PROMPT © Rochelle Wisoff-Fields

As soon set over the mountains, I wondered what my next step would be.  Would I continue on with my dream or should I turn back and return to the life every expected of me?  The missed calls on my phone meant my family was not supportive of my decision, but I knew I couldn’t let them make my decisions for me any longer.  If I went home again, I knew I would be working for the family business for the rest of my life.  My lonely life.  I would rather be the criminal I knew I could be.

It is hard to break away from expectations; though choosing a criminal life might be a tad extreme!

Yes, well a lot of criminals live a lively life and can not be lonely locked up in jail with lots of like minded people.

A great story of inner thoughts and self-appreciation.

The things people will do for kicks! I think it may be an overreaction in order to break free from the family mold but then again… Interesting story, Kate.

It would have been interesting if the family business was criminal and that’s what she was trying to escape.
