The Muddy Forest

Muddy tracks in forest.

I knew the forest would be muddy, but I wasn’t expecting this. How would I ever be able to follow through with my plan if I could get my car through? It was obvious someone had tried before me, but I didn’t have the driving experience to make me confident I could. I knew with the time I had, I could only make one trip, but as the time came closer to blastoff, I knew I had to try. Either be successful or I would go back to jail. I would not survive another day behind bars.

Low gear, high revs and fast pace, go for it. That is the only way to drive through the muddy track.

This person is caught between a rock and a hard place. Not knowing the crime that put them behind bars, difficult to know whether I wish them success or not. Good story!

Definitely a sticky situation! Don’t know if I should root for them to succeed or get caught!

Blastoff! Where’s he headed? Outer space? Very intriguing. I can feel his panic in this, and find myself wanting him to escape, although like commenters before me, I wonder – should I be cheering for an escaped criminal? What a dilemma.

Seems like he has more incentive than most to give it a go. I too was intrigued by blast off – where’s he going?

If he grew up in such conditions, he should know by now how to deal with it without getting stuck. I don’t know if I want him to make it or not–depending upon why he was in prison to begin with!
