The Museum

I hadn’t been too excited about being the babysitter for my brother and his friends at the museum, but as soon as I saw the airplane, my entire world changed. Never before had I been interested in leaving town, but now I knew exactly how to achieve my dreams. As soon as I got home, I shipped my brother and his friends to the backyard for a game of flag football while I researched everything I could about aviation and flying lessons. I had a way I could finally disappear.

Having been the designated babysitter for my little brother, I found that going away to college was my escape. Not that I hated the job. I didn’t. I just wasn’t ready to be a mom yet 🙂

You’ve piqued my curiosity as to why she is so keen to get out of town. I enjoyed reading your story.
