Sunlight

PHOTO PROMPT © Rowena Curtin

As I looked down the crowded alley, I wondered if it would be safe to walk down alone. I remembered what had happened the last time I was in an alley and suddenly I knew I couldn’t safely make it down the alley. Jason had been there, lurking. Waiting for me to appear and I knew he would be there again. He knew my secrets and he knew how to scare me. But this time, I knew how to make him pay and I knew how to pull him into the sunlight. Sunlight was the one thing he feared.

That’s how you fight vampires, drag them into the sun.

This reads like a dream. If she can defeat him in the dream, she’s all set.
