  • Time

As time slipped in and out  Trying to steer away from the shout  His name would draw attention  The mountain air full of tension  All he needed was the doubt

  • Downturn

The loud hum buzzing of the jet  Bringing a man I had never met  He wanted to marry  The first woman who would carry  Everything he deemed relevant

  • Stealth

He always wanted to disappear  Hoping to walk quietly like the deer  Quiet, stealthy, light  As if there was no knight  In shining armor, out on the frontier

  • UFO

In the middle of the night  There was a big fright  A disk fell out of the sky  Making everyone believe it could fly  Suddenly everything went bright

  • Repent

Everywhere the sunshine went  The more money that was spent  On books, magazines and flare  Promising the art of no glare  Not remembering it was time to repent
