    Show me some mercy and pray  Wishing these feelings would just go away  Why does everything feel worse at night  When the feelings are a fright  On my heart does it weigh

    Anxiety comes rushing in  Not wanting me to win  I only wanted a friend  Not to feel like it would never end  Sometimes I wish I had thicker skin

    If money wasn’t an issue  I would no longer need tissue  I could run, play and ski  Instead of trying to flee  Maybe I could finally learn jujitsu

    Everything was out of style  But had been for quite a while  There were too many shades  Reminiscent of the Everglades  With the trial of the crocodile 

  • Forbidden Love

    When I caught my first glimpse of the bride  My first instinct was to hide  Because I was friends with the groom  And he made my heart go boom boom boom  I knew it should be me at his side

    When the man answered the phone  He thought he was alone  He probably would have said  His wife should be dead  When he saw me, all he could do was moan.

    In the garden that is growing  The whole world seems to be slowing  As the flowers bloom  They use their power to resume  And send the world crowing

    All I wanted to know was why  Why did he have to lie  His promises went unnoticed  Why was he so focused  I knew I shouldn’t cry

    Unidentified objects went flying  Making me believe they were spying  Pictures were taken  Hearts were shaken  Scientists went home crying

    People now are changing  And often rearranging  Priorities should remain hard and drawn  Not something to be ignored until they are too far gone  But yet no new info is exchanging
