    The day I hurt my knee  I wanted to go on a shopping spree  Instead, I sat down and cried  When my tears finally dried  I could tell I was finally free

    When the weather started to turn  All I could feel was the burn  Of all the lies that were told  From the days of old  Wondering what I had been expecting in return

    This is the key to your apartment  Look into your own compartment  You were protecting yourself  And putting my feelings on the shelf  Like you are a part of the justice department

    Welcome to the heart of loneliness  If you were only one to confess  Did you really see my future?  Or was the truth in the suture  Because you acted like Your Holiness

    Everything started with an inkling  As the stars had just started twinkling  Searching for the fairies  With their nests full of berries  While their dreams are lingering

    Within the niceties of the church  I went on a soul search  Especially down by the beach  My life was out of your reach  I knew you wouldn’t understand my research

    When the frog jumped into the pond  The toad couldn’t respond  He was so shocked  When the lily pad talked  That all he did was pull out his wand

    Do you know who I am?  I’m the one who told you to scram  But here you are  You thought you could return to my bar  Only to order a single clam 

  • The Ball

    He would play any game that required a ball  Especially when the leaves did fall  Never wanting to go inside  Except from a bully when he needed to hide  Only then did he feel small
