Category: Really Bad Poetry

  • Hoax

I laughed at all his bad jokes  Like the one about the hoax  I went along with his game  To try to save my own name  But at the end, he said, that’s all folks

  • Sink

Meaningless banter  Equilibrium upset  Sinking like the moon

  • Dull

As I rack my brain  Remembering life with you.  Now cold.  Sullen.  Done.

  • Ed

When the horse jumped the fence  He said “Why so dense?”  His name was Ed  He wanted a new bed  The only thing that made any sense.

  • Moving On

Stranded without my  Lifeline.  Teetering.  Empty.  How do I move on?

  • Crooked

Lying crooked is  The glaring problem hanging  From the deep blue sky

  • Dance

I never wanted to see the show  But I want you to know    If I had the chance  I would ask you to dance  So everyone could see you glow

  • You

Depression sinks in  While happiness flies away  Just like you left me

  • Toxic

Nobody cared about my reputation  Only about toxic flirtation  In wanting to create  I determined myself to be great  Only adding to their frustration

  • Murmurs

In the twilight of winter evenings  Dark and shambling  Weaving about in all that nothingness  Is that of pines and twitching leaves  Three thousand miles of nothing  Earth exhales her scent  Throaty little murmurs  Lying easy under the sun
