Waterfalls

I knew hiding behind the waterfall was the only place I would be safe.  He thought I had never learned how to swim, but that was not the only lie I had told him.  I had been trying to get out from under his clutches for years and this might be the break I needed.  I convinced Tyler to go on a hike with the plan of losing him while I snuck away.  I knew he wouldn’t easily let me go, which is why I had enlisted the help of local villagers.  They knew how to get away with murder.
